Saturn the planet of restrictions, discipline, and ‘failure’ acted in its most responsible way as the Archbishop of Canterbury resigned over suppressed knowledge of a mass abuse of boys (by relentless and vicious caning) that occured in the 1970’s and 1980’s at a Chrisitan summer camp where he officiated as a Dormitory officer (before he was ordained in the church) He was not involved in the abuse himself, but knew it was going on, and didn’t say anything.
This story hits the headlines as Saturn has stationed to a virtual stop after several months retrograde in Pisces, the spiritual and religious sign of the zodiac represented by the fishes (look at the shape of the bishops mitre, a fishes tail, that he wears)
The timing of this is so perfectly reflected by the planets, as Saturn squares Mercury, the messenger, in Sagittarius. Mercury is also youthful and young people, Saturn is the old and repressed taskmaster. Sagittarius represents the christian camp. The square is the tension and knowledge of what happened, without saying anything, until the story festered for decades, however at last, as its mutable signs of the zodiac, its time for a change.
And change must happen… because in the bigger picture we are also in the opening square of Jupiter and Saturn, and it is Mercury that is setting off these two planets against each other. As Jupiter and Saturn met in Aquarius almost 4 years ago, then the change that will eventually happen will have a liberating, freedom, and intellectual restructuring behind it.
The question is: has the christian church become out-of-date and irrelevant in the modern world? Is it even really ‘spiritual’, or is it just a hierarchical institution that has outlived its usefulness. Have the masses in the UK abandoned the church because they find their spiritual nurturing and connection through other means and beliefs (the new age, holistic practices)
Can the same be said for all the organised religions? (look at what is happening in Israel during this Jupiter and Saturn square as well).
As pluto leaves Capricorn for the last time, this exposure and grand reveal shows everyone what needs to change in society.

It is possible now to make some interesting predictions for the end of 2024 and into 2025 and beyond. I am going to look at the mercury retrograde cycle; the Lunar phase cycle, and the Jupiter and Saturn squares.

Mercury in Sagittarius wants the honest truth and will explore in order to find it. Then it will want to convince, and quite possibly be a bit arrogant. It might uncover many facts and figures and try to apply logic, whilst instead just needing to see ‘the bigger picture’ There will be revising and reviewing of the orignal story. Victims might come forward with their accounts of what happened. Mercury squaring saturn will demand a systematic and formally resolute method of thinking, with realistic and reasonable considerations and decisions. Expect things to go slowly, with negative and pessimistic thinking dominating.
The Lunar phases:
This story broke in between the first quater moon phase, and the full moon. This highlights a week around 9 months ago, and looks forward to two more weeks in 2025 and 2026, when this story will reach its frutition. When these dates come around, allow for a couple days each side of the predicted date listed.
10th to 17th February 2024 (New Moon in Aquarius)
9th August 2025 (Full Moon: Sun in Leo & Moon in Aquarius)
9th May 2026 (Last Quarter: Sun in Taurus & Moon in Aquarius)
The Jupiter Saturn Square:
The next Jupiter-in-Gemini squaring Saturn in pisces is on December 24th 2024.
It is unlikely to be this Archbishop story, because of the huge implications of the Jupiter/Saturn connections, there will other ‘big’ stories surfacing.
For example the first Jupiter/Saturn square back in August 2024 largely reflected the immigration issue, and triggered the unrest and rioting in the UK.
The last Jupiter/Saturn square will between the 28th May and the 16th June 2025.
This will be pretty intense, as it straddles the world axis; Jupiter and Saturn are crossing from the mutable signs of Gemini and Pisces, into the Cardinal signs of Cancer and Aries. Expect big changes in the socio-economic structure.
