This book does more than introduce the principles of the seven traditional planets, which are clearly described, it also invites the reader to engage with them through a series of self-reflections which can really bring home the manner in which the planets are expressed within ourselves and the world.
Unusually, for an introductory work, the use of planetary hours is also explored and their relevance is explained.
Altogether this is an excellent introduction to key ideas brought together with some thoughtful exercises.
